More options for importing and
exporting text structural data

We have provided support for more crystallographic file formats, and have also allowed more flexibility in the export of data and graphics.

Imports and Exports Chem3D "cartesian" text files
Option of exporting molecular data in Protein Data Bank (Brookhaven PDB) format
Option of exporting crystal data in CIF format
Export Bond Data command now allows a choice of maximum bond lengths. The value used is that from the Bond Search dialog.
Enhanced Copy/Export graphics dialogs permit choice of resolutions and export file creator types (a number of popular graphics files are listed). This dialog also predicts how much memory will be required.
Greatly improved export of vector-based photo-realistic graphics. Previously photo-realistic graphics could not satisfactorily be exported as QuickDraw (vector) pictures - the preferred option was to export these as pixel graphics ("bitmaps"). CrystalMaker 3.1 now lets you export photo-colour and photo-grey plots as vector graphics; rendered atom spheres are replaced by shaded spheres, which can be edited in drawing programs.
